Question about copyrighted images

Anna, I removed the picture from the article and some IP reverted my edit telling me that the picture shws Ali at a young age, I reverted that back because it doesn't matter how the picture shows her, it is a non-free picture and it has to be used only for identification and critical commentary on the music video in question (Sweetest Thing). Done - I've updated the collaboration page after reviewing articles in the "by origin" section of the Template:Lists of prepared foods. So, if anything on the list catches your interest, and you have the time, etc., hook up some articles! (Hint: the "convert to table format" section has many new entries now).

Hi Karl. I deleted it because it seemed promotional. It looked like a CV. I couldn't really tell because it's not in English. Anyway, a bit of info about yourself is fine. But, do you intend on helping build the encyclopedia, or do you want to write an article about yourself? Usually, userpages with such information are okay for editors who are helping Wikipedia. But, if people just post their bio and leave, it's sort of like they're using Wikipedia as a free web hosting service. Please clarify if you can. Hi Karl. Okay, I must know: is the content at your userpage part of an article you are preparing? At Wikipedia there is the mainspace (the encyclopedia) and userpages (like your userpage). Hi Itaopa. I really have to disagree. I think both of your accounts [1][2] have only edited to promote Kirstin Capp. The userpage bio was part of it, in my view. Also, it appeared as a fake article. But, I will assume good faith. I just restored it then moved it to a sandbox in your userspace (see User:Kristin Capp). There, you can work on your draft. Hi Suzanne. May I ask what the image is? Take down? I'm not sure what you mean. Also, this edit wasn't a good idea. You just replaced content at some random article with your promotional content. I'm guessing it was an honest mistake. :)

Sorry for deleting your user page, but you were promoting yourself. That's not really allowed. While it is discouraged, you may create an encyclopedia article about yourself. That unfunny essay

Comparing that discussion with the two previous ones shows how far their world has moved on. Why, yes. I do think that defense is rotten. But then, those comments were made by humans. I'm not a big fan of humans at the moment. When it comes to love and kindness, I think dogs sit on a higher plane. The word "humane" is wrongly named. It should be "dogmane".

Hello doctor. Please don't be upset. I explained at your user talk page. But to expand on that, your userpage is intended for basic information about yourself or your Wikimedia-related activities. Although a lot of leeway is allowed in personalizing your user page, it is not a personal website, blog, or social networking medium, nor should it be used to promote yourself, or host a fake article, lengthy biography, or C.V.

Even established editors who put thousands of hours into building the encyclopedia would not be permitted to have such a userpage. You just registered your account and immediately created this userpage, and have edited nowhere else.

I saw that... I have contributed my writing to their site in the past, but I am not paid...nor am I affiliated in any sense, other than sharing good will. I have also contributed to huffpost... and many other publications, so I am hopeful that this will not impair my longer term abilities to write contributions?

How do I demonstrate the notability? As elephant journal has been a very impactful advocate of green economy - that's why the made the choice to swap from a paper based magazine to completely digital. It's a new business model, that should be discussed... any insight?
