Robert Jauch is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin Senate, representing the 25th District since 1987. He previously served in the Wisconsin Assembly, representing the 49th district from 1983 through 1987.

On October 9, 2013, at a press conference in Madison, Jauch announced that he would retire at the end of his current term, which ends in January of 2015.[1]

During the protests in Wisconsin, Jauch, along with the 13 other Democratic State Senators, left the state to deny the State Senate a quorum on Governor Scott Walker's controversial "Budget Repair" legislation.
