Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page LGBT rights in Bahrain has been reverted.
Your edit here to LGBT rights in Bahrain was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://gaymiddleeast.blogspot.com) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Hello. Your recent edits seem to be motivated from a Persian-POV; you've been removing the word "Arab" from many articles, including articles which deal specifically with Arab affairs such as your move of Arab States of the Persian Gulf into States of the Persian Gulf. Please stop this behavior as it is very disruptive to the encyclopedia. Mohamed CJ (talk) 13:39, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not motivated from a Persian point of view, the article was initially named "Arab States of the Persian Gulf" which itself is biased and lacks neutrality in the naming dispute. In both local Khaleeji usage, terminology and international usage, those countries are generally referred to as simply "Gulf states" rather than the "Arab states of the Persian Gulf". I wanted to move the title's page to simply "Gulf states" but was unable to do so (don't know why). The states of the Persian Gulf article should be re-named "Gulf states" to avoid all bias and both POVs. The article's current title is "states of the Persian Gulf" - seemingly shorter than the initial title and leans less toward any specific viewpoint. Maybe "States in the Gulf" is better? I'm sorry that I characterized you as editing from a POV, it was really not a good thing to begin with. We should not be considering the local usage, instead we follow the most common name in English language reliable sources (see WP:COMMON). A Google search for "Arab states of the Persian Gulf" returns about 5,030,000 results in contrast "Gulf states" returns about 5,510,000 results. This shows that both uses are very common. You weren't able to move the article, because a redirect already exists, and only Admins can move over a redirect. To properly request a move, especially for such controversial topics that are discussed over and over in talk pages, you should follow instruction here: WP:RM/CM, but I'd recommend reading WP:MOVE first. Mohamed CJ (talk) 15:14, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to also note that I have no problem with the name Persian Gulf as you seem to have implied. The name is the most common in English language reliable sources and thus we use it. Mohamed CJ (talk) 15:18, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This edit [1] tells me you have a problem differentiating between Arab states of the Persian Gulf (without Iran) and States of the Persian Gulf (Iran included - this term is not often used if at all). You need to take all these discussions to talk pages, because they are controversial. And trust me, you will get in conflict with others and it's best to talk them out first. Mohamed CJ (talk) 15:41, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I changed it to "countries located in the Arabian coast bordering the Persian Gulf." Thanks for the "WP:" links on how to move over a redirect. Insomniaingest 15:49, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to reiterate what Mohamed has told you. I understand that there is a dispute over the name of the Gulf, and that this is a sensitive issue for some, but wikipedia uses WP:COMMONNAMES. The Gulf is much more commonly referred to as the Persian Gulf than the Arab Gulf in English language usage. This is why the article is located at the title Persian Gulf. (Another example is the Republic of Macedonia, who's name is disputed. We don't title the article "former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia", even though this is the name that the country has been admitted under to most international organizations, because no one actually uses this name in common English usage to describe the country.) Perhaps this isn't fair, as it takes one side of the dispute, but it's the reality of the situation. If you think that Persian Gulf is not the common English name for the body of water, you should start a discussion at Talk:Persian Gulf. But as it stands, daughter articles should follow the lead of the main article. TDL (talk) 20:11, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Palestinian expulsion from Kuwait

Just so that you know, I've reverted your move of Palestinian expulsion from Kuwait because there is already a consensus for keeping the name, see the talk page. If you wish to rename the page, please start a new discussion. -- Mrmatiko (talk) 16:52, 28 October 2013 (UTC) Check the talk page. Insomniaingest 21:33, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
