The term Terradise was coined by Raymond F. Romine of Marion Ohio in 1952[1] "(Terradise)". to describe the 18 acres he and his wife Trella Hemmerly Haldeman Romine purchased near Caledonia, Ohio. 12 acres of the property on the left bank of the Olentangy (Whetstone) River were donated to the Marion County Park District.
