Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and gives you many benefits, including:

We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have on my talk page. By the way, make sure to sign your posts and comments with four tildes (~~~~), which will let others know who left it. Having looked through your contributions, you seem to be a valuable member of the community. Having a user name would make you far more recognisable and help people to take notice of your work. USAA article

your edit did introduce an error. USAA uses the phrase "member" to refer to customers. Saying handren became a member in 1986 is confusing. We don't know when he became a member. He became an employee in 1986.

Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Pre-Columbian trans-oceanic contact. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Please see WP:ERA and do not edit or remove material simply because you are opposed to a particular dating system. dougweller (talk) 22:15, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment.
