City Centre Muscat
Developed and is managed by Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Muscat City Centre shopping mall was opened in October 2001. Located on Sultan Qaboos Road (3km from Muscat International Airport), Sultanate of Oman, Muscat City Centre mall recorded 9.5 million visitors in 2012.
Muscat City Centre underwent a major expansion in 2007 that doubled the size of the mall introducing more than 60 new stores and increasing its retail space to 60,484 sqm. In June 2013, the mall announced a second redevelopment to add 48,500 sqft of retail space dedicated to entertainment and leisure. The redevelopment will include a 10-screen VOX Cinemas, enhanced Magic Planet and a larger dining area.
