Coastal Andhra Regions marked in white.

Kosta, otherwise known as Coatal Andhra is an unofficial region of India's Andhra Pradesh state. Coastal Andhra includes the northern coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh between the Eastern Ghats and the Bay of Bengal, from the northern border with Orissa to south of the delta of the Krishna River. It generally includes the districts of Guntur, Krishna, East Godavari, West Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, and Srikakulam, and sometimes Prakasam and Nellore.

Coastal Andhra's relative prosperity is the envy of political movements seeking to form separate states for the two other major regions of Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana region in the northwest and the Rayalaseema region of the southwest.
