The term Terradise was coined by Raymond F. Romine of Marion Ohio in 1952[1] "(Terradise)". to describe the 18 acres he and his wife Trella Hemmerly Haldeman Romine purchased near Caledonia, Ohio.[2] 12 acres of the property on the left bank of the Olentangy (Whetstone) River were donated to the Marion County Park District.
