Background and YouTube

Inspired by numerous YouTube beauty gurus, Zoe created her blog “Zoella” back in February 2009. Her blog explores various avenues such as fashion, beauty and lifestyle. This eventually expanded into a YouTube channel attracting 3 million subscribers on 1st December 2013.

Zoe immerses herself within social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to communicate with her fans and other bloggers and vloggers. Furthermore, Zoe was recently mentioned by The Telegraph as one of Britain’s most influential Tweeters and was also awarded “Best British Vlogger” at the Radio 1 Teen Awards.

Zoe’s quirky personality makes her shopping hauls and beauty recommendations easy to watch and as a result receives 9 million views per month, with a combined viewing figure of 133 million from all her videos. Zoe also has a following of 945,000 followers on Twitter and 1 million followers on Instagram. Her subscriber rate continues to rise, according to VidStatsX Zoe has placed 96 in the top 100 subscribed YouTube channels.

Having suffered from panic attacks and anxiety since her early teens, Zoe has spoken honestly about her condition. She has actively helped and encouraged others by posting videos with advice and coming up with her inspiring catch phrase: "Just Say Yes."

Zoe features in a new YouTube channel called DailyMix alongside other popular UK YouTubers managed by Gleam Futures. She was also the envy of all teenage girls when she interviewed One Direction for YouGeneration.

Personal Life

Zoe has a younger brother called Joe Sugg who also has his own YouTube channel.
