Welcome back?

Can you explain what you meant by this edit? Has Satyamcompany been away and returned? It's not obvious that he/she has. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:03, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Khiladi 786 Music CD Cover.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Khiladi 786 Music CD Cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 05:12, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Khiladi 786 Album Art issue

Dear Zeeyanwiki

As you have noticed I had removed the previous picture of Khiladi 786 Soundtrack Infobox. Well I did that because in Official Mp3 releases the album art are generally square dimension-ed but the one you uploaded had dimensions which are not generally found in album arts. But then I realised the work 'CD Cover' and YES CD covers are not square but your picture rather looks like a poster instead of a CD Cover anyways I decided to keep both of them

My one - "Mp3 Cover"

Your one - "CD Cover"

If you are still not satisfied regarding the issue you can post on my talk page.

Regards Soham

re United States

It's such a gigantic topic, and one that so many people have such strong opinions about, that it's very difficult to get to a quality status. It's close but it's a slow push getting there. --Golbez (talk) 21:28, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Hi

Oh, then how are you now? Anyways, Jab Tak Hai Jaan had undergone a peer review while you were absent and is currently a GA nominee. Check the article, it is much better shape then before. Regards, ----Plea$ant 1623 16:45, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Chennai Express box office

Hi,

I would appreciate any input you have in an almost certainly sockpuppet led nuisance relating to the acknowledgement of sources other than Box Office India for Chennai Express, despite us having a consensus for several years that uses BOI only (which has maintained uniformity for so long). Please see the talk page when you can, thanks. Factual Proof (talk) 19:31, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Chennai Express/ Box Office India

Boxofficeindia.com

Hi Saw your comments on user Sohambanerjee1998's talk page about Boxoffice where you said:-

("Person's like Komal Nahta are assosiated with Bollywood so their comments, updates and figures might be wrong and biased because they probably got money to give better reviews.Whereas BOI is independent website who tracks only boxoffice figures and yes reliable newspapers can be wuoted in case BOI delays. We create a consensus for BOI following a discussion few years back".)

I have some questions, what is known about Boxofficeindia's ownership ? How has the conclusion been reached that it is "Independent", and who all were involved in the discussion about BOI because I would like the discussion to be reopened, some years ago it was the "only" site that had regular figures for all releases and though at times there were delays there was no other source, the situation now is different and in fact it is Boxofficeindia now that seems to be lagging, where figures are reported the other websites numbers are not any difference so the claim of bias and wrong is not substantiated by actual experience, and for us to call Boxofficeindia independent we should have some news about it's ownership too, if all this has already been discussed if you could point me to where it was discussed it would cut a long discussion short, else request that this be discussed again in light of things changing on the ground over the last few years. Retirement

Hey Zee, hope you are alright. Anyways, I will retire on Thursday, because I don't have time to edit Wikipedia and also greatly lost interest. But don't worry, I will return, but don't know when. Thanks for being such a great and kind friend. --Jionpedia 17:13, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Narendra Modi HDI references

I rechecked the references I put it, and I beg to differ; they do indeed criticize Modi and his government for "failing to make an impact". Notice I do not say that they got worse; only that there was little change. Quotes;

"It had the seventh rank in social infrastructure in 2000-01 which did not change in 2009-10." and "the social dimension of infrastructure are health and education." which is human development in any sense of the term. [1]

This reference clearly shows that poverty in Gujarat declined a lot slower than the rest of the country, and then goes on to point out that given the slow improvement in the country as a whole, this constitutes a lack of governmental impact. the reference doesn't mention Modi by name, but the administration in question is his. [2]

I could go on in this vein; but the other articles basically show that gujarat does poorly on social indices. Cheers, Vanamonde93 05:59, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Narendra Modi shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Ok got it, will not remove dead links in future... but my other changes are correct eg at one place in ek tha tiger the ref is about dabbang 2 but you reversed it.... secondly your ref about Chennai Express is better but it shows the grossing after only two weeks, I can understand that you want to rely only on box office and want to update it later but the box office sometimes doesn't update for long and it will give wrong info, we will remove koimoi when box office will provide info Luckydhaliwal (talk) 10:47, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
