The result of the move request was uncontested move. Abecedare (talk) 09:54, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Vincent J. McMahon → Vince McMahon, Sr. — Per WP:COMMONNAME, Vince Sr. is the name most associated with him, and a lot of online and book sources refer to him as such. [1] I also think it would then be easier to distinguish him from his son, as per the Rey Mysterio, Jr. article. TaerkastUA (Talk) 13:35, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Second requested move

Vincent J. McMahon → Vince McMahon, Sr. — Per the Bob Orton and Bob Orton, Jr. articles (they also do not share the same middle name), and WP:COMMONNAME. Also, his profile on [2], Vince Sr. is the name most associated with him, and it would be more consistant. Otherwise, Vince McMahon should be moved to Vincent K. McMahon for consistancy, as they both share the same first and last name. —The Taerkasten (talk) 19:42, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

- Oppose He is almost never called Vince McMahon, Sr. I would also like to add that he is not Vince McMahon, Sr. (as that would require his son to have the same name, they don't). The name of this page would not have any bearing on the name of his son's article either, so please don't bring that up in your argument. As for Orton, he actually wrestled as Bob Orton, Jr. (Vincent J. McMahon was never called "Vince McMahon, Sr." TJ Spyke 20:21, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
- Comment I am aware that Vincent J does not share his exact name with his son. However, as your rationale for opposing is perfectly logical, I shall withdraw this nomination. --The Taerkasten (talk) 20:58, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

How did this get moved?
There's virtually no discussion, there's an Oppose, and then WAM BAM it's an uncontested move? No way. This should be at Vincent J. McMahon, the man's actual name, he's not senior, his son is not junior, they have different middle names, and use of senior and junior in this case is unjustified in an encyclopedia.76.226.192.201 (talk) 09:03, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
