Critical reception

Examiner rate the album with 4/5 stars and wrote: "The whole record becomes even more impressive when we find out that John Mark Nelson is only 18 years old, and already creating works this incredibly full and accomplished."

Daily Planet wrote: "The album is a self-contained outing. All songs written, arranged, performed, recorded and mixed by John Mark Nelson. Frankly, he could've used some help with the creativity."
