WKKX is a News/Talk formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Wheeling, West Virginia, serving Wheeling in West Virginia and St. Clairsville in Ohio. WKKX is owned and operated by RCK 1 Group, LLC.
Programming
WKKX is a locally owned station that features local news talk. Notable hosts are John Blackmore, Howard Monroe, Steve Novotney, Sherrie McCutcheon and Bill DiFabio.
WKKX has also recently began broadcasting the Wheeling Jamboree, a country music program that has been on the air since 1933, making it the third longest running radio program behind the Grand Ole Opry and Music and the Spoken Word.[1]
WKKX is also an affiliate of Fox Sports Radio, carrying their programming overnight.
