Patrick O'Donovan (born 21 March 1977) is an Irish Fine Gael politician.[1] He was elected as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Limerick constituency at the 2011 general election.[2] He was a member of Limerick County Council for the Newcastle electoral area from 2003 to 2011.[2]

In January 2014 he was lambasted by the public for suggesting banning open-source software.[3]
