Jack Watling

Jack Watling (13 January, 1923 in Chingford, Essex - 22 May, 2001 in Chelmsford) was a British actor.

He played the part of Professor Travers in the BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who in the serials The Abominable Snowmen and The Web of Fear.

Jack Watling was the father of actresses Dilys Watling and Deborah Watling (who played the Doctor's companion Victoria Waterfield) and actor Giles Watling.

He also appeared in the independent Doctor Who spin-off video Downtime.

He also appeared as Don Henderson in the 1960's TV series The Power Game which was sequal to The Plane Makers alongside Patrick Wymark's character Sir John Wilder.
