Hi there. You appear to have place a speedy deletion notice on the page Runemaster (game) whilst I was actually drafting the page (i.e., in the first 10 minutes after my creation of the page). A bit quick, no? Especially as the notice refers to it being for a "real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organized event" when what it refers to is none of these things? I realise there are people spamming Wiki all the time, but in this case you seem to have acted with excessive haste FOARP (talk) 19:34, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Hello @FOARP. You may want to take a look at WP:DRAFT. Creating an article in a state that fails Wikipedia guidelines and policies can have the effects you yourself have witnessed. Cheers. ~ | twsx | talkcont | ~ 08:41, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Google Translate says it means:
"Penises in vaginas make babies poop in the lettuce and I love goat semen" — Preceding unsigned comment added by MadisonGrundtvig (talk • contribs)
- @MadisonGrundtvig: Haha, I figured something along those lines! I'm Swiss, my native language is German, so I got parts of that. :) ~ | twsx | talkcont | ~ 16:05, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, vandalism can be quite hilarious sometimes, although it is altogether annoying and should not be done. I have not done very much with vandalism protection, because I have not caught very much of it. Although, I find vandalism on Wikia frequently, since that site is watched less, and I do a lot to stop that. Where are the most likely places to find vandalism on Wikipedia?
P.S.: Thanks for reviewing my Blachman (disambiguation) page.MadisonGrundtvig (talk) 16:54, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- Heya @MadisonGrundtvig. Well, if you were to look for Vandalism "by hand", that would probably be hard. Usually, people use different tools for it. If you're interesting in getting involved, you can find a list of such tools at WP:VANDAL#Tools. Personally, I absolutely LOVE WP:Huggle, but that's up to you of course. Probably the most important "tool" for fighting vandalism, however, is User:ClueBot NG. It's an automated bot which has an amaaaaazingly effective detection rate with a just as amazing low rate of false-positives. Other than watching edits/changes, I also patrol Special:NewPages a lot. Hope that helps! =) ~ | twsx | talkcont | ~ 00:17, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding wikipedia. If I make a change they call it an edit war. If you "think" and change without any research or mentioning any references. Other users are edit warring and warning me of changes for which I give references. Want to ask what muslims believe or just want to make wikipedia a place for your thoughts and opinions. Did you read the Quran before making changes. The Quran is the definition of a muslim. Other users of wikipedia select other books which are not any authority on the subject to write the opinions of others or themselves.
I think you are wrong. So you revert it yourself. I am getting tired of having even small changes with references reverted by others who think they can do an edit war for their opinions. I shall be telling about my experience with wikipedia to others.
Have fun with wikipedia as another western opinion media propaganda dissiminator.
There are many other better websites for information available which shall be referred to others as being more reliable.
I feel that on wikipedia the majority opinion is now prevalent. Not the reality or original sources. It is similar to science. If the current so called western scientists were told initially that gravity is a pulling force, they shall believe it and not accept the other theory that it is a pushing force. They have no basis and shall stick to what they have learned or believed even if the measurements state otherwise. That is why so many self proclaimed scientists nowdays make statements like : "The the observations do not agree with the theory. " Such statements immediately make the person a non scientist by definition. But the people think they are above facts and definitions and measurements nowdays.
Enjoy your wikipedia. I shall spend my time in other areas more useful to others.
Regards,
Khawar
