Overview

The list below shows pages in the main english article namespace to which no other articles link. For the purposes of this report, an article is any entry that is not a redirect page and does not contain {{stub}} or {{disambig}}. It was generated on 4th November 2004 from the 23rd October 2004 database dump.

Preamble

Pages which no others link to are known as orphans. They may very well be interesting and worthwhile articles in their own right, but without any links to them there's little chance people will be able to find and read them. There may be a better article on a very similar subject that others are linking to, in which case they should be merged. Or it simply may be the case that it's an article nobody knows about yet. Find relevant articles and add links to them.

Regenerating this report

This report is generated from a Link Analysis Database using the SQL:

select concat( '*[[', art title, ']]' )
from art
where links to = 0
and art is stub = 0
and art is redirect = 0
and art is disambig = 0
order by art title;

And split the results into subsections by hand.

Suggested improvements

  • Need to take links from articles outside of the main 'en' namespace into account. - TB 10:14, Jun 9, 2004 (UTC)
  • Some articles, such as 1917 Pulitzer Prize are linked only through a template and show up on the report. R 00:47, 11 Aug 2004 (UTC)
