John Pullinger

John James Pullinger, CB (born 1 June 1959)[citation needed] is the Librarian of the House of Commons[1] and the President (2013-4) of the Royal Statistical Society.[2]

He was educated at Alleyn's School, Dulwich, the University of Exeter and Harvard Business School.[2]

He was a statistician in the Central Statistical Office and the Office for National Statistics, finally Director of Social Statistics, 1980-2004, before becoming the Librarian.[2]
