Thymiaterium was an ancient city.[1] Originally a Phoenician colony, it was located on the Atlantic, at the mouth of the Oued Souss (or Sus Wadi) near present-day Agadir. It is mentioned[2] in the account of a voyage across northwest Africa by Hanno, a Carthaginian navigator.
