Jeffrey Altheer (Rotterdam, March 9, 1987) is a footballer. He is currently under contract with VVV-Venlo , where he usually is used. As a defensive midfielder or defender

Altheer ran from 1995 through the Feyenoord youth. Here he was offered a contract in 2005. Since the 2006-07 season, he played on loan for Excelsior. The 2007-08 season, he was again loaned to Excelsior. This time he came, in contrast to the previous season, does not play.


End of March 2009 was Feyenoord known not to renew, so Altheer unemployed threatened to be his expiring contract[1]. Then Helmond Sport attracted him[2]. After three seasons in Helmond he made in imitation of teammate Guus Joppen moved to VVV Venlo[3]. He has a contract until July 1, 2015.


Career

Born in Lekkerkerk, Altheer played for the youth team of Feyenoord, and made his professional debut in the 2007-08 season on loan for Excelsior. In the latest years he played for Helmond Sport.
