Lucas Faydherbe (also spelled Lucas Faijdherbe; signing as Lucas Fayd'herbe) (19 January 1617– 31 December 1697)[1] was a Flemish Baroque sculptor and architect.
Biography
He was born in Mechelen, and studied with Peter Paul Rubens in Antwerp.[2] He worked as a sculptor and architect. Based in Mechelen after Rubens's death, he also worked in Brussels and Antwerp. He was the nephew of the Flemish Baroque painter Lucas Franchoys the Younger.
