Leigh Lezark (born July 26, 1984) is an American DJ and model. She is one-third of the New York City-based collective The Misshapes.[1]

Early Life

Leigh Lezark was born and raised in New Jersey. In 2002 she moved to New York City to study photography at Hunter College. After beginning school met Geordon Nicol and Greg Krelenstein and in 2003 together formed The Misshapes.

Career

DJing

Known for DJing nightclub, lifestyle and high fashion events internationally, with The Misshapes Leigh has also produced sound design and runway show music for Adidas Originals, Bill Blass, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Costello Tagliapietra, Cynthia Rowley, Diesel Black Gold, Harry Winston, Jeremy Scott, Karl Lagerfeld, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Moet & Chandon, Rachel Zoe, Tory Burch, Viktor & Rolf and Zac Posen.

Modeling

As a model Leigh Lezark has been photographed by some of the industry’s leading contributors including Steven Meisel, Karl Lagerfeld, Patrick Demarchelier, Terry Richardson and has appeared in fashion campaigns for Chanel, DKNY Jeans, GAP, Hogan, Kooples, Lanvin for H&M, Roberto Cavalli for H&M, Mango, Maison Michel, Stradivarius and Zac Posen.

She currently serves as a beauty ambassador for Chanel and has appeared in various special projects for the brand including “The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s Classic Revisited” (Steidl, 2013) by Karl Lagerfeld & Carine Roitfeld and the Chanel/Karl Lagerfeld film “Remember Now” in which she portrays herself, Bianca Jagger, Coco Chanel and Colette.

She is also on the album cover of Dying to Say This to You by The Sounds.
