BLØF
Bløf is a pop group from Vlissingen, The Netherlands. The group was founded in 1992, but broke through in 1998 with the song "Liefs uit Londen" (Love from London). Drummer Chris Götte died of a motorcycle accident in 2001; he was replaced by Norman Bonink. Bløf scored a hit in 2004 with the song Holiday in Spain, a duet with the Counting Crows.
The band name is an alternative spelling of the dutch word bluf, which means bragging. The dutch sound of the U is similar to the Scandinavian letter Ø.
