Needed your opinion

Hey Smaro! I needed your opinion. On Kapoor's article, it currently mentions that JWM established her as a leading actress of Bollywood, but I came across sources that state that it was back in 2001 that she became a leading actress (primarily due to the success of MKKH and K3G, as well as her performance in Asoka) here, here, here, here and here. Do you think we should change it? If we do, we'll have to re-write the lead as well. This is what I have come up with so far. -- Bollywood Dreamz talk 19:14, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for work on Aamir Khan so far! Would love to collaborate with you on that one. :) BTW, I don't think it makes sense to have the "production and direction" section since most if not all the films have featured Khan in them. I completely agree bud! At this point, it's going to be extremely tough to find sources for Khan's old films, but I'll try my best.   4. Mr. Bachchan - his entire filmography... LOL. But my personal favourites are Black, Paa & Agneepath; Aamir: Lagaan & DCH; SRK: MNIK & Devdas; Ranbir: Barfi; Hrithik: Lakshya & KMG; Ajay: Omkara & Zakhm
  5. Madhuri: Mrityudand & Pukar; Sridevi: Lamhe & Chaalbaaz; Rani: Black & Saathiya; Preity: Heaven on Earth & KHNH; Kareena: Omkara & Chameli; Priyanka: Barfi & Aitraaz
  6. I ask myself this every time... LOL. She says that she wants to do good films, but then turns them down when she's offered them. Quite literally "a bundle of contradictions". BTW, I don't think she was offered Queen; it's probably a bunch of hogwash. I think Vikas Bahl has said that Kangana was his only choice. With Black, it was due to Mr. Bachchan; after Abhishek and Karisma broke off their engagement things weren't too good with the family. accusations of "bad faith"

You have had bad faith all along. And you still have not provided any valid rationale for why we would break WP:V and WP:CRYSTAL to claim a release date for an unreleased film when we can easily and more accurately describe what is actually verifiable. Rani Mukerji

Rani Mukerji (born 1978) is an Indian film actress. Through her successful Bollywood (Hindi film) acting career, she has become one of the most high-profile celebrities in India. Mukerji has received seven Filmfare Awards from fourteen nominations, and her film roles have been cited as a significant departure from the traditional portrayal of women in mainstream Hindi cinema. Mukerji began a full-time career in film in 1997 and had her first major success with the 1998 romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Blocking/Banning TRPoD

I have tried having TRPoD blocked multiple times, but all my efforts have failed. I think u can report him this time, bcos I know u do not lose battles that easily. Is it fair to report him as edit warring? Bcos he is one man fighting with several other editors (albeit unarmed and unsupported), just like a Bollywood "hero", always going against consensus. How is it disruptive editing or vandalism? It's not. There is no change in the information. I am just changing the format to match the other acting categories and make it easier to read.

I will be on spring break next week, and I will use the time to clean up the 86th Academy Awards ceremony list to make it better, comprehensive, and readable. However, I may need your help to prevent trolls and other unpleasant editors who might accuse me of vandalism or edit warring. I want to improve the list so I can eventually submit it for featured list consideration on July 25. I requested for a temporary page protection, but I am not sure if it will be granted. Protection request - List of actors who won the Academy, BAFTA, Golden Globe, SAG, and Critic's Choice Award for a single performance

Hi,

I am engaged in an edit war with another user on this page. I am hoping for an admin with some knowledge of cinema to protect the page and settle the debate (I emphatically believe I am in the right), or failing that, just someone to protect the page and end the edit war whilst I attempt to persuade the other user. I am not sure whether you are an admin but clearly you are a leading expert on cinema and I was hoping for your assistance in the discussion anyway.

I was watching the Nargis-Freida episode again (boredom to the max!!) on Youtube and they have these speech-recognition subtitles that I turned on for some reason. Some of the translations were hilarious! Thought I'd share a few with you:
KEY (what they said --> what the subtitles translated this to)

  • Are you trying to say Yash Raj Films rejected you? --> Are you trying to say they injected you?
  • Please welcome the very beautiful Nargis Fakhri --> ....beautiful nagasaki
  • I would kill to see John and Ranbir hook up --> ....to see John and beer in a cup
  • Sheila ki jawani, Munni badnaam, Fevicol, Chikni chameli --> She like in Germany, but now I'm heavy, call a chick
  • Name the Kardashian (pronounced by Karan as Kardaashan :P) sisters --> Name the reproduction sisters
