Nduka Onwuegbute (born 1969[1]) is a Nigerian British playwright, currently living in the United Kingdom.

He was educated at the University of Ibadan and the University of Jos, both in Nigeria. He has three children named Uwam, his eldest boy who is a talented sprinter(his personal best being 12.39 seconds) and is into athletics, Chunya, his oldest daughter who is lively and full of fun, also a talented runner, and last but not least, Uche, his youngest daughter who is a talented gymnast and a good runner. He has a wife named Chizor Onwuegbute, who is very protective over her childrens health and well being but can also have a good laugh. he children describe her as "a wonderful cook". [1]
