The End of the Tour is an upcoming American biographical drama film directed by James Ponsoldt and written by Donald Margulies, based on David Lipsky's 2010 book Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself. The film stars Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg.

Production
On December 11, 2013, it was announced that Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg will star in the film The End of the Tour as David Foster Wallace and David Lipsky, which James Ponsoldt will direct from Donald Margulies script he adapted from 2010 book Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself written by David Lipsky.[1] On January 30, 2014 it was announced that Kilburn Media is on board to finance the film, while Anonymous Content and Modern Man Films are also producing, which the Fortitude International will be selling at Efm in Berlin in February.[4] Later on February 7, 2014 Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has acquired all rights in international English-speaking territories.[5] On March 19, 2014 Ron Livingston has joined the cast of the film, he'll play Lipsky's editor, as Bob Levin.[2]
Filming
Shooting of the film began on February 19, 2014 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and will continue for five-weeks.[6][7][8] On March 19, 2014 it was announced that yesterday the filming was taking place at JW Marriott Grand Rapids and shooting was said to wraps up in coming week.[9]
