WHPC is the radio station of Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York. WHPC began broadcasting on October 27, 1972. The first song played was "Listen to the Music" by the Doobie Brothers. The station broadcasts on 90.3 MHz, HD1, and streams online at www.ncc.edu/whpc. Some of its popular shows are Motormouth Radio with Chris Switzer and Ray Guarino, The Super 70's with Ron Stevens, Everything and Anything with Steve Mangiaracina, Sinatra Serenade with Glenn DeMilt, Conversations with Ray Bertalino, "Beatlesongs" with Rob Leonard, Good Gold with Ed Newlands, The Essential 80's with Jaime Trovato, The Unforgettables with Michael Anthony, Thunder Road Radio with Kim Tracy, The Party Mix with Stephanie Lombardo, The Rare Groove Sessions with DJ Solero, The Sock Hop with Steve Dassa and Piano Man with Chris Muldoon.
