Hugh Skinner (born January 6, 1985) is an English actor best known for playing Joly in the 2012 film Les Miserables.

He is a graduate of Eastbourne College and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).

He played Felix Clare in Tess of the d'Urbervilles (2008), Lionel Mountstuart in Any Human Heart (2010), and Barnes in The Wipers Times(2013). He also guest starred on Law & Order: UK and Bonkers, and appeared in Day of the Dead (2008) and the short film A Bloody Muddle (2012).

He also starred in two radio plays, both released by Big Finish Productions: The Confessions of Dorian Gray: The Heart That Lives Alone (2012) and in Missing Persons: The Winning Side (2013).

His theatre credits include American Psycho (Almeida Theatre, 2013-2014); Pastoral (Soho Theatre, 2013); Wild Oats (Bristol Old Vic, 2012); You Can't Take It with You (Manchester Royal Exchange, 2011-2012); 66 Books (Bush Theatre, 2011); Where's My Seat (Bush Theatre, 2011); 'Tis Pity She’s A Whore (Liverpool Everyman, 2010); 2nd May 1997 (Bush Theatre, 2009); Sudden Loss of Dignity (Bush Theatre, 2009) The Great Game (Tricycle Theatre, 2009); Angry Young Man (Trafalgar Studios, 2008); The Enchantment (National Theatre, 2007); Senora Carrar’s Rifles (Young Vic, 2007); and French Without Tears (English Touring Theatre, 2007).[1]

He currently plays Will Humphries in W1A, which premiered on BBC 2 on March 19, 2014.[2]
