I want to add photos to an article about the historic house that I own. I have edited the article and have gone back over the past 10 days to try to upload the two photos. (Non-administrator comment) No special permissions are required to create an artilce, but I would suggest making the artilce inside your own userspace and submitting it to WP:AFC , also you might want to read WP:COI due to a possible Conflict of interest since your part of the team making the telescope. Not done - If the file you want to upload is available under a free license, it should be uploaded to our free media repository, the Commons. You do not need any special permissions to upload there, and you can use the same username and password you use here. If it is not available under a free license, it should be requested using the Files for Upload process, which does not require any special permissions.
