Max Branning is a fictional character in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. He is played by Jake Wood. He made his first appearance on 27 June 2006.
He is the estranged son of Jim Branning and the father of Bradley, Lauren and Abi Branning. He arrived in Albert Square with a broken down car, and met Stacey Slater in the street. He flirted with Carly Wicks while he booked his car in to be fixed.
