Oghuz (Template:Lang-az) is a city and municipality in, and the capital of, the Oghuz Rayon of Azerbaijan Republic. Oghuz was known as Vartashen (Template:Lang-hy 'vard' rose, 'shen' village, town) until 1991 and was renamed to Oghuz in 1991.
