Xanthe Eleanora Marie Davina Elbrick (born 1 December 1978, London) is an English Tony Award-nominated stage actress and Photographer. The youngest of four children, Xanthe (pronounced 'ZANTHEE') was born in London, England, and attended Benenden School. Granddaughter of Ambassador Charles Burke Elbrick.
Xanthe trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and The Actors Studio (MFA) in New York City. She graduated with a Masters in Philosophy from Edinburgh University (2000) where she was also Director of the Edinburgh Footlights Theatre Company. Xanthe won the BBC Drama 'Act Up' Award (2001), and made her television debut as Miriam Jacobs on 'Doctors' (BBC) that same year. Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominated for her Broadway debut performance in Coram Boy, she also won the Fan Favorite, and Theater World Award in 2007. Drama Desk Nomination for Bernard Shaw's Candida in 2010. Film credits include Body Of Lies (Ridley Scott), Wall Street II (Oliver Stone), and Into The Woods (Rob Marshall). She is the Sith Inquistor for Star Wars (The Old Republic), (Fan Choice Award). Xanthe Elbrick Photography specializes in portraits and is rated in 5 top headshot photographers in New York City."'
