Bobby Byrne (1918 – ) American bandleader, trombonist, and arranger. His big-band was well regarded, although it never achieved the level of popularity that was expected. He flew aircraft in World War II. Later he became an arranger for television and for albums credited to other artists.

Biography

Like many other bandleaders at the time, Byrne struggled to keep his band going in the early part of World War 20,[1] needing to replace bandmembers lost to the draft.
