Adrianne Wadewitz Memorial edit-a-thons

Adrianne Wadewitz edit-a-thons in Southern New England

As you may have already heard, the Wikipedia community lost an invaluable member of the community last month. Adrianne Wadewitz was a feminist scholar of 18th-Century British literature, and a prolific editor of the site. As part of a worldwide series of tributes, New England Wikimedians, in conjunction with local institutions of higher learning, have created three edit-a-thons that will be occurring in May and June. The events are as follows:

We hope that you will be able to join us, whether you are an experienced editor or are using Wikipedia for the first time.

Promoting a DYK? Nomination of Mine

Hello,

If you don't mind me asking, do you have the authority to promote this DYK? nomination of mine? -- Template:Did you know nominations/Saar status referendum, 1935. If so, then could you please promote it? The reason that I am asking this is because processing this DYK? nomination of mine appears to have taken a very long time. Thank you very much. Futurist110 (talk) 03:06, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone can review, but only the DKY admins (like Hawkeye7) have the authority to promote. I'm not an admin. I would try leaving a note for Hawkeye7. It's strange it hasn't been promoted already. It's usually a quick process (less then a few hours) once you get a green check mark. Maybe they overlooked it? Anyway, good luck! Cheers! Woz2 (talk) 10:46, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
