Elite Beat Agents is a Nintendo DS rhythm game developed by iNiS.

Elite Beat Agents is a sequel to Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan (although holding no plot connection), created for a Western audience. It will have all new scenarios, characters, themes and music, including Steriogram's Walkie Talkie Man and Deep Purple's Highway Star. [1]

Despite the completely new scenario, the play mechanics, which require the player to use beat points, tracks, and spinners in time with the song's rhythm, remain the same.

One of the example scenarios revealed in the July issue of Nintendo Power has the player motivating a movie director. If the player stays in sync, he or she will inspire the director to make a great film. If the mission is failed, however, the scene will end badly for everybody.
