Prospect Park (formerly named 29th Avenue)[1] is a light rail station on Green Line in Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to a preliminary engineering draft from June 2010, it will be located on 29th Avenue just south of the University of Minnesota Transitway between 4th Street Southeast and University Avenue.[3]

Construction of the rail line along the transitway began in 2011, and station construction is expected to begin in 2012. The station is expected to open along with the rest of the line in 2014.[4]
