FARHAD SHAHNAWAZ
Farhad Shahnawaz is a noted Indian model, dancer and actor[1] Best known for playing the role of Rammy in Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki an Indian soap opera that airs on Colors TV, he is also known for his contribution to the field of acting and Modelling.
Early life
Farhad was born on 28th September 1980, His father[2] was in Merchant navy , He belongs to a Muslim family where he is the youngest of three siblings.
As a Model
He was the winner of “Best Personality” title in the Gladrags Manhunt Contest of 2004, which was a major breakthrough for his career. He was the Show stopper[3] for sabyasachi mukherjee in Lakme Fashion Week held in 2008.He has worked with the leading fashion designers[4] of India like Manish Malhotra, Rocky.S, Asmita Marwa, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, JJ Valaya, Wendell Rodricks, Narendra Kumar, Raghavendra Rathore, Vikram Phadnis, Arjun Khanna, Dev & Neil and Muzafar Ali.
Television
Apart from being a Dancer who was the winner of Boogie Woogie (TV series)[5], He has acted in Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki- an Indian soap opera that airs on Colors TV, Where he plays the role of Rammy - A Negative Character.
Films
He has acted in several Telugu films , He made his Telugu cinema debut with the film Relax[6] that was released in March 2005.His next movie, Style (2006 film) was released in January 2006 where he plays the role of a Dance Instructor[7] which was a big budget production and also starred some of the biggest actors in Telugu cinema. He is currently acting in a Movie called REY Rey_(film)[8] being directed and produced by YVS Chowdary which is due for release in 2014.
