The Monastery supports itself with the painting of icons, and the manufacture of incense as well as mounted icon prints. Since the founding of the community, the monks have dedicated themselves to producing translations of texts necessary for Orthodox Church life. Many books of the lives of the Saints and concerning matters of the Faith have been published. Especially, out of desire to benefit the Church, liturgical books of primary importance have been translated into English and published by Holy Transfiguration Monastery: The Pentecostarion, The Great Horologion, the complete 12-volume set of The Menaion and The Psalter According to the Seventy. Some patristic works have also been translated and published, most notably The Ladder of Divine Ascent, The Ascetical Homilies of Saint Isaac the Syrian, and The Synodicon of Orthodoxy.

When the Monastery moved in 1970, Holy Nativity Convent was organized under the auspices of Holy Transfiguration Monastery. These churches are beautiful and help people all over the world. Glory Be to God for all things, Their writings and asking of unity has always been their prayers amongst the world Churches. They will always pray anf hope for this however, they will not compromise the teachings of the Holy Fathers and will always struggle to follow in the footsteps of our Holy Fathers. Instead of using intelligent tactics to hurt them you should be good people and stop defaming them and be as God would want you to be as you say before the people. This is the way and they work and make a living and do not ask for anything except to follow and become a saint of God.Be nice and forgive and ask for forgiveness, Do not steal their churches that they put you in and the people came not for you but for God, to be with him and take communion. Do you think you can own the churches because you were given the title priest in their church to help and guide the way of their work? Whom gives a man permission to take something illegally because people enter the church an pay alms for their family or loved one's? You use them and gather them and befriend (Father Christos Constantinou of Saint Marks in Roslindale){ A priest gone mad thinking he is God and taking our church!} them to think you own them, their bank accounts and then you take Hocnas church because you think you are the owner of their property? These are the truths, They were angry because they wanted Bishop Demetri to take all our churches, monastaries, and convents and say our Eminence was to old an needed to step down because they created the schism and when it did not work they came out with name worshipping and sex scandals.Father Christos cleared Father Panteleimon of charges when he was accused after investigation. Our Elder is a most wonderful monk, and I would give my life for him for the truth of his life to God as a witness for over 15 years. if any were true monks should not put out their sexual experiences when they have come into a monastary as a homosexual or any other walk of life and are tryny to heal. That is wrong because we are all sinners and we have many !When Bishop Gregory was ordained they got angry because Bishop Demetri with Father Christos could not take power.Father Christos has used his power to take from the people using our church. Right before his schism he kept asking for more money. I was disgusted in the church to hear every word was to ask us for more money. This is what needs to be said and the truth should be written instead of lies. The judge should hear from the parishioners that are not with him. He has no memory. It took two years for him to see a man whom needed help. He was to busy! These monasteries and convents are so beautiful. Now that the ones whom left are gone it is finally peaceful and the way it should be. They made havoc and tried to plant horror on the grounds in God's house. May God forgive them and I pray that Mr. Kallinkos is ready for the same. History repeats itself. Hocna has done everything correctly and have answered to all accusations. Letters from people whom have sinned is not proper to advertise. Let all the churches alone and let us learn how to be good and find a way to do what is right and not what is taught in the theological schools because this is why they left in the beginning to avoid this type of historical harm that has come to pass the way of our churches whom stand to help and do no harm. Let Hocna receive their church back and the ones whom left let them earn a living and do not steal from the hand that feeds you and took care of you. Being a monastic is serious. Let them be monks and nuns and pray for them instead of taking and hurting them. They pray 24 hours a day with services and help people in the whole world. They are human beings as we are. Work together. They except everyone from all walks of life. They pray for you if you cal them and you see their prayers work. What do you want to harm them Is it your own weakness? We all have family issues. Do not be hungry for money. It is a sin to take unless i is given. They have given everything that they get and work for. Why don't you try to do that and help people in the world? Stop all this fighting and show people whom read these articles hoew to be friendly with differences. Do not teach hatred, malice, and envy it will come to cross your path and it shall come back to you two fold. Can we be civil or have you lost your senses? They asked for forgiveness why do you not except and ask the same? These are good examples for our families is it not?

Any accusations from any point should be dismissed. Any persons sins whether true or not should not be posted on the website. Students and children and young adults learning what is appropiate by their role models in society, --05:06, 17 December 2012 (UTC)72.70.77.230 (talk) The Orthodox Word:

"and in Canada"?

Where in Canada is it? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 01:36, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

article seriously deficient

The article is clearly not NPOV. Many important aspects of history are missing. The end result is that it looks like a matter of theological purity, whereas there have been multiple jurisdiction-jumpings, large-scale defections from the church, and the accustions against Hieromonk Pantaleimon of sexual abuse of monks and novices that simply cannot be wished away, whether they are true or not. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 01:51, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that the vast majority of their parishes in the US and all their Canadian parishes fled in the past two years over HP and charges of heresy would also be noteworthy.72.79.135.104 (talk) 09:18, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
