Notability and prod

This department is an official law enforcement agency just like any other in the state of Nevada. They can issue citations for traffic violations and have to deal with murders on their campuses. The fact that they are called school police does not make them less important then any other law enforcement agency. Given the size of the agency and the fact that they are responsible for the 5th largest school district in the US, clearly they are notable. Vegaswikian 17:33, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Under an NRS that I'm not bothering to look for (somebody else can), any law enforcement agent or agency can, in any other jurisdiction, enforce the law in Nevada. I've heard numerous times when the CCSDPD officers at Bonanza High School talk about how they were called to a robbery, shooting or murder near the high school and had to help Metro or the LV City Marshals investigate or keep the peace related to the crime. I also was given a warning for speeding on Oakey Blvd. by a CCSDPD cop in 2003, even though I wasn't near any schools. Sierraoffline444 (talk) 21:15, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have tried to remove the dead links. Some other user has reverted the removal so I am now asking someone of archive the dead links so they can be used. --BabbaQ (talk) 21:46, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Or alternatively new sources needs to be found. Right now the article is unsourced.--BabbaQ (talk) 21:49, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
