After creating this page, this notice "This article lacks information on the importance of the subject matter" appeared.

This cemetery was design by a pioneer of landscape design, Almerin Hotchkiss, who also designed Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn and Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis -which are both Wikipedia articles. The cemetery was the third cemetery in Illinois to receive National Registry recognition.

It was also an important location in the Max Allan Collins' graphic novel, Road to Perdition, which was the basis the Oscar-awarded film by the same name which starred Tom Hanks and Paul Newman.

I have just added some of this information to the page.
