"New York City Boy" is a song by British music group Pet Shop Boys. It was released in September 1999 as the second single off the album Nightlife. In the UK, the single peaked at number 14 on the UK Singles Chart. In the US, the song hit number 1 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart and number 53 on the Hot Singles Sales chart.

The music video for the song features the legendary New York nightspot, Studio 54.

The B-side, "Casting a Shadow", was written for BBC Radio 1 during the solar eclipse of August 11, 1999, and CD2 featured a bonus video showing the song alongside footage of the eclipse in the UK.
