Tennessee Aquarium

The Tennessee Aquarium is a public aquarium in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA, that opened its first exhibit in 1992. It has approximately 12,000 specimens, including fish, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and crustaceans. The aquarium, formerly containing only freshwater specimens, opened a new saltwater building in 2005. This new wing, called Ocean Journey, contains a butterfly garden and a coral reef tank, among other exhibits.
