Man on the Run is the upcoming sixth studio album by English alternative rock band Bush, which has a tentative release date for 21 October 2014.[1] It is the band's second studio album to be recorded with Chris Traynor and Corey Britz and since the band reformed in 2010 to release The Sea of Memories. The album release in 2014 marks the 20th year anniversary of the bands debut album, Sixteen Stone.

Background and production

Man on the Run was produced by Nick Raskulinecz.[2] The band spent two years touring in support of their previous album The Sea of Memories, before returning to the studio in 2013 to record new music. On 18 August 2014, Gavin Rossdale announced that the album was available for pre-order, confirming that their would be a deluxe edition of the album.[3] Furthermore, he revealed the album name to be Man on the Run through a video announcement. [4] On 19 August 2014, the band announced via their twitter page that the lead single would be The Only Way Out.
