Add all emulatable titles?

For platform, we could just list the original platform (N64, PSX, etc) and then add Windows, Mac, and Linux with (via emulation) in parentheses. If it's playable on PC, it's a PC title. All in favor? I can see the other side of the argument, but if it's playable on PC what does it matter? If needed, the header could be updated to mention it includes 'any title released for or playable on a PC'. This also brings me to flash/web games, should those be included? There are a handful of notable flash/web games. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.232.233.153 (talk) 02:16, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am in favor of that, It's a list of PC titles, which can also mean games that can be played on PC, not just officially released ones. And all games up to 6th generation of consoles plus Wii from 7th can be emulated thanks to capabilities of PC, so I don't see a problem there, same goes for flash games. Just adding a nicely visible notice that the game is emulated and give a nice description that the list includes all games that can be played using a PC would suffice, I think.--Patrykq (talk) 13:26, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If no one will agree or disagree in a few days, I'm gonna add a description saying that this is a list of titles that can be played on PC, and then probably add few games, or game franchises from the consoles and few popular flash games for the beginning.--Patrykq (talk) 16:20, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think this would be best, especially for MetaScores. I feel like leaving all these amazing games out (although they pretty much require a controller to be played) would be lying to potential PC users. The purpose of Wikipedia is to be educational, and adding positively surprising information like emulators to a list of PC titles would not only be fitting, but very helpful to those who wouldn't have learned it elsewhere. I do think we should exclude non-emulatable titles (like PS3/XB games) as well as ones that are known to emulate badly. This shouldnt be a problem though, since only a fraction of released games have trouble on emulators. We'll also need to be careful with operating systems, since some don't have good emulators and some do. Windows is best supported, with Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, GameBoy, SNES, NES, N64, etc.Wikinium (talk) 17:54, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Example (pretend it's only on the PS2 and XBox):

Name Developer Publisher Genre(s) Operating System(s) Date Released MetaScore
A Fairy Tale Reflexive Entertainment Reflexive Entertainment Matching PS2 and XBox (natively), Windows, OS X, and Linux (via emulation) March 2009

That's exactly how I wanted to list them.--Patrykq (talk) 18:35, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
