Tetrodotoxin?
Do the Green Spotted Puffers carry the tetrodotoxin that other members of the family also carry? Tnophelia (talk) 04:06, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
As this fish is researched they must be kept alive in captivity, I have not seen mine eat though, and it stays at the surface all day with very good aeration. Strange fish, I would however expect a more detailed article given its (The Green Spotted Puffer) scientific importance.

hi there,
i've uploaded an image of this fish to commons some days ago: http:/upwiki/wikipedia/commons/b/b6/Tetraodon_nigroviridis_1.jpg - feel free to use it for this article. we don't have a specific page about the green spotted puffer fish in the german wikipedia, so we use it here: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rundkopfkugelfische - if you don't like the licence used, feel free to contact me. would need some help to "upgrade" the licence to a more "usable" one. just don't want to see this image with "faked" copyright remarks on commercial sites… so long, starseed -- Starseeeed (talk) 17:19, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
