ironSource, is an online software distribution and monetization company backed by Carmel Ventures, a Viola Group affiliate. As the founding company behind brands such as DealPly, AnySend, and ClickMeIn, among others, ironSource was chosen as one of the '20 hottest startups' in Israel.[1] At the heart of ironSource, is the InstallCore platform - a market-leading installation platform responsible for over 100 million software installs per month.[2] The platform purportedly shortens download time and eases the install experience.[3]
History
Founded in 2009 in Tel Aviv, ironSource provides platforms and tools for downloadable applications including user monetization, analytics, conversion, acquisition and optimization for all devices. In the first quarter of 2013, ironSource acquired Israeli advertising technology and network company AfterDownload Ltd. for $28 million to expand its integrated distribution, installation and value-building tools for software developers, publishers and advertisers.[4] The company also utilizes the C.A.S.T. native platform, kudosKit[5] appreciation platform, and MobileCore, which brings mobile application developers distribution and engagement services.[6] ironSource opened US offices in San Francisco in August 2013 [7] and opened an office in Beijing, China in May 2014.[8]
ironSource partners with and installs products for companies including Microsoft, Citrix, Google, Spotify, Yandex, Baidu, Symantec, Audible, Opera, and others.[9]
ironSource acquired the mobile game studio Upopa in the summer of 2014.[10]

In addition to its installation platforms, ironSource distributes software that it develops or owns in bundled packages. Applications ironSource is associated with include

- VuuPC, A remote desktop connection application with over 2 million users.

- AnySend, A large-file (files up to 17 Terabytes) sharing application.
