The A Lyga (Lithuanian for A league) is Lithuania's top level women's football league.
The champion qualifies for a spot in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Format
Up until the 2013 all teams just played each other twice. In 2014 the format was changed, after playing each other twice, the top four teams and the bottom ones play another championship/relegation group.[1] Points are added to the points of the first stage.
