Episode one is rumoured to be set in Cardiff in which the Doctor and Martha travel to the rift to refuel and meet Captain Jack who works at Torchwood according to Doctor Who Confidential. They are also supposed to (in the same episode) enounter the Ice Warriors. It was replaced by the cheaper and easier Fear Her.[citation needed]
