Dorma is a small Village/hamlet in Torpa Block in Khunti District of Jharkhand State, India. It comes under Domra Panchayath. It is located 29 KM towards west from District head quarters Khunti. 59 KM from State capital Ranchi

Geography

Dorma is surrounded by Rania Block towards South , Kamdara Block towards west , Murhu Block towards East , Karra Block towards North . Khunti , Ranchi , Gumla , Chakradharpur are the nearby Cities to Dorma. This Place is in the border of the Khunti District and Gumla District. Gumla District Kamdara is west towards this place .

Physiography

Uneven plains and some rocky mountains lie as this region comes under plateau region of chotta nagpur.

Demographics

Hindi is the Local Language here. Most of the population comprises of Munda people speaking their native tongue Mundari Language.
