She passed away 9/27/13 in Las Vegas, NV after a battle with cancer according to a site I read. Also a Phyllis Davis with her birth day and same date of death is buried at a cemetery on Boulder Hwy in Henderson, NV. Phyllis Elizabeth Davis (born July 17, 1940) is an American actress who appeared primarily on television. She was most notably a part of the cast of Aaron Spelling's dramatic series Vega$, playing the character Beatrice Travis.
She studied at Lamar University and attended acting classes at the Pasadena Playhouse.
Career
She appeared in Love, American Style (1969) for five seasons.[1] Some of her film appearances include Lord Love a Duck (1966), Russ Meyer's Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970), The Choirboys (1977), Davis also appeared in television series such as Knight Rider: she played the role of the villainous Tanya Walker in the pilot episode "Knight of the Phoenix." She had guest roles in Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., Magnum, P.I., The Love Boat, and was a regular performer in the vignettes in Love, American Style. She was in an episode of Adam 12 1969 (You Blew It). She was a Match Game panelist on occasion and appeared on a Battle of the Network Stars special.[2]
